The Zimbabwean Dollar is the official currency of Zimbabwe. One US dollar is worth around 83.00 ZWL. The Zimbabwean Dollar (ZWL) is the currency of Zimbabwe, which is situated in southern Africa. It was first introduced in 1980, replacing the Rhodesian dollar. The dollar is subdivided into 100 cents. The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe is responsible for issuing and managing the currency. The dollar has experienced significant fluctuations in recent years, due in part to political instability and economic uncertainty in the country. In 2009, the government suspended the use of the Zimbabwean dollar due to hyperinflation, and foreign currencies such as the US dollar and South African rand were adopted instead. The Zimbabwean dollar was reintroduced in 2019, but its use remains limited.
